WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Only isolated showers and thunderstorms can be expected over the mountains and Palmer Divide area this afternoon and early evening. They will produce brief rain and gusty winds to around 40 mph.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday  Temperatures will return to above normal levels with highs soaring into the upper 90s over most of the plains and I-25 Corridor Wednesday and Thursday. Only isolated showers and weak storms with gusty winds but little rainfall can be expected over the mountains Wednesday. By Thursday afternoon, a few storms will be able to move onto the plains.  By Friday, moisture will increase which will lead to scattered showers and storm coverage, as well a higher potential for storms with meaningful rainfall. Similar conditions should last through at least Saturday, before drier weather returns early next week.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be required today or tonight.
