This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT... A Heat Advisory is in effect for locations east of Highway 83 today until 8 PM central time. Heat indices of up to 106 degrees are expected. Briefly critical fire weather conditions are possible this afternoon in areas near and west of the Kansas/Colorado border. Much of the area is in a marginal risk (level 1 of 5) of isolated severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. Wind gusts up to 75 mph are the primary hazard, but large hail and a brief tornado cannot be ruled out. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY... Chances for severe thunderstorms linger through the weekend. Large hail, damaging wind gusts, nuisance flooding, and maybe a tornado are all possible. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
