WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Critical fire weather conditions are expected this afternoon and evening across the north central mountains and high valleys, and a Red Flag Warning is in effect from noon until 8 PM today.  Hot temperatures will continue across the region today, with high temperatures in the upper 90s to low 100s across the lower elevations and a Heat Advisory is in effect for the Denver metro area. A few gusty showers may develop this afternoon, mainly across the plains.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday  Critical fire weather conditions will continue Friday across the higher elevations with dry and windy conditions expected ahead of a cold front.  A gradual cooling trend is expected this weekend into next week, but dry conditions will likely prevail through most of the period, especially over the higher terrain.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be required today or tonight.
