YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Showers and thunderstorms moving into far northeast Colorado this evening will be weakening, but may pose a low risk for damaging winds as they dissipate before reaching the Kansas border.  Better chances for showers and thunderstorms will move into areas south of Interstate 70 in northwest Kansas late this evening and through the overnight. Some of those storms may produce heavy rainfall and flash flooding. The area of concern will be from Hill City to Tribune and south between 10 PM and 4 AM CDT.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...  Much above normal temperatures will return to the area this weekend and into early next week.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation may be required.
