YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  A few areas of fog will persist across the area through sunrise, with fog expected to dissipate by 9 AM MDT (10 AM CDT). Fog is most likely along and east of the Kansas and Colorado border. Visibility around a mile is expected in many locations, although locally dense fog is possible before it dissipates.  There is a small chance for thunderstorms late this afternoon into the evening hours, mainly in eastern Colorado and east of Highway 83. An isolated stronger storm is possible, with hail up to quarter size and strong wind gusts the primary threat.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...  Daily chances for storms continues into the start of next week as some may be strong to severe. While a large outbreak of severe weather is not anticipated, Saturday looks to have the best chance for severe storms to develop.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not anticipated.
