YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  A line of thunderstorms capable of producing wind gusts of 70 MPH should move into East Central Colorado from 5-7 PM MDT. The storm activity will spread east through the rest of the Tri-State Area, lasting past midnight. The favored time for these wind gusts will be during the evening.  Large hail up to ping-pong ball size may occur with the storms later today moving in from Colorado, and with any storms that form from Leoti to Hill City after 4 PM CDT. However there is low confidence for the storms to form over the southeast part of the Tri-State Area.  Prolonged heavy rainfall may lead to flooding in low-lying areas tonight for Northwest Kansas and Southwest Nebraska.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Any hail, wind, or flooding reports will be very helpful tonight.
