YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Patchy dense fog may briefly develop around, or shortly after, sunrise this morning.  Thunderstorms anticipated to develop in the lee of the Colorado Front Range this afternoon will track eastward into northeast Colorado and adjacent Kansas and Nebraska border counties late this afternoon and evening. A few severe storms are possible, mainly between 5 PM and 9 PM MDT. 65 MPH wind gusts and a few instances of large hail appear to be the primary hazards.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...  There is a marginal risk for severe storms Wednesday afternoon and evening, generally north of Interstate 70.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter reports are highly encouraged.
