YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  An Extreme Cold Warning remains in effect for the entire Tri-State area. Wind chill readings down to as low as 30 below zero are anticipated tonight, leading to an increased potential of rapid onset of hypothermia not only in humans but livestock and pets as well. Frostbite may occur in 30 minutes or less.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  An Extreme Cold Warning remains in effect through mid-day Thursday for the entire Tri-State area. Wind chill readings will remain as low as 30 below, leading to an increased potential of rapid onset of hypothermia not only in humans but livestock and pets as well. Frostbite may occur in 30 minutes or less.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
