YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  Near critical to critical fire weather is ongoing across eastern Colorado this afternoon. Fires may become harder to control and contain. Adjacent counties in Kansas(from Sherman south to Greeley) have forecasted near critical fire weather conditions this afternoon.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  Fog and freezing fog are forecast to return to portions of the area Friday morning. Be prepared for reductions in visibility potentially down to one quarter mile and slick roadways especially on elevated surfaces such as bridges and overpasses for the Friday morning commute.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not expected. Spotters are encouraged to report any fires to local dispatch however.
