WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Winds will be the main hazard, with strong winds impacting areas above treeline and wind-prone foothills locations in particular, where peak gusts of 65-85 mph can be expected through tonight.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday  Fairly strong west winds can be expected over the mountains and higher foothills for the next several days. High wind criteria speeds are not expected, but gusts to 60 are a possible through the period especially on the ridges.  Snow showers will develop in the mountains by Tuesday night and continue into next weekend.  Significant snowfall accumulations are not expected at this time.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
