YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Breezy to strong northwest winds will develop late this morning and persist through the afternoon, strongest in eastern Colorado and adjacent Kansas and Nebraska border areas, or along and west of Highway 27, where sustained winds at 30 to 35 mph and gusts up to 50 mph are expected. Wind of this magnitude may create difficult travel conditions for high-profile vehicles. This includes the Interstate 70 corridor in eastern Colorado and far northwest Kansas.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
