WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 ...ARCTIC COLD AND SNOW FOR THIS WEEKEND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK...  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight  No significant weather is expected today or tonight.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday  An arctic airmass will bring bitterly cold air to Colorado beginning Saturday and lasting through Tuesday morning. Low temperatures could reach -5 to -20 F across the I-25 corridor and eastern plains, with the lowest temperatures occurring Monday night. Highs on Monday may struggle above zero. With breezy conditions, wind chill values may reach -30 F which will bring significant impacts for anyone spending time outside. Livestock and pets will also be vulnerable to prolonged outdoor exposure.  Snow will likely arrive by Friday night and continue into Saturday. Light to moderate snowfall amounts are expected with the heaviest accumulations in/near the Front Range Foothills. Another round of light snow is expected late Sunday and Sunday night, possibly lasting into Monday morning.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
