YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 3 PM MST (4 PM CST) for Cheyenne and Kit Carson counties in Colorado as well as Cheyenne, Rawlins, Decatur, Sherman, Thomas, Sheridan, Wallace and Logan counties in Kansas. In these areas, the combination of moderate snowfall and northerly winds gusting 35 to 50 mph will produce significant reductions in visibility, perhaps down to one quarter mile at times.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed. We would appreciate snowfall reports and visibilities under one half mile.
