WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR THE FRONT RANGE I-25 CORRIDOR, SOUTHERN FRONT RANGE FOOTHILLS, PALMER DIVIDE, AND ADJACENT PLAINS TONIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING...  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Very light mountain snow may lead to locally slick conditions. Snow spreads into the lower elevations this evening and tonight, with impactful accumulations leading to hazardous roads in time for the Tuesday morning commute. The heaviest snowfall will be between 11PM tonight and 5AM tomorrow.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday  Snow will taper off from north to south across the area Tuesday morning into early afternoon. The Tuesday morning commute will be slick and slow for many, so plan on extra time to reach your destination safely. Very cold temperatures will follow this system Tuesday night, with low temperatures reaching the single digits, and a few spots dropping below zero. All of the mountain areas will drop well below zero.  Blustery conditions will develop across the northern and eastern sections of the plains on Thursday, and additional light snow is possible.  Yet another weather system is expected to keep colder than normal temperatures and a chance of additional snow in the forecast for this weekend.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight. However, any reports of accumulating snow will be appreciated.
