YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  Dense freezing fog is forming near the eastern Colorado border and will persist through the night. Quarter mile visibilities and slick surfaces are expected from this freezing fog, prompting the issuance of another Winter Weather Advisory through Saturday afternoon for locations along and west of highway 27 and southwestern Nebraska.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...  A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for Norton and Graham counties, beginning at noon CST Saturday and ending at 6 PM CST Sunday. Light ice accumulation, snowfall of 6 to 10 inches, and reduced visibilitiesdue to blowing snow are expected.  Dense freezing fog will lift around 10 AM MST as freezing drizzle becomes more dominant, causing additional slick surfaces through Saturday afternoon for locations along and west of highway 27 and southwestern Nebraska. The western Winter Weather Advisory will remain active until the drizzle is no longer a threat.  A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect this weekend for locations along and east of a line from McCook, Nebraska to Leoti, Kansas beginning at noon CST Saturday and ending at 6 PM CST Sunday. Trace ice and snow accumulations up to 5 inches are expected.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is highly encouraged, but do NOT travel.
