YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...  Monday, a High Wind Warning is in effect for Yuma, Kit Carson, and Cheyenne counties in Colorado, in addition to Cheyenne, Sherman, Wallace, and Greeley counties in Kansas from 9 AM to 5 PM MST due to northwest winds gusting up to 70 mph. Dundy County, Nebraska remains in a High Wind Watch. The entire area will see some blowing dust with locations generally west of a line from McCook to Quinter seeing more consistent visibility reductions as low as a few miles.  A Red Flag Warning is also be in effect from 9 AM MST to 5 PM MST Monday for Sherman, Wallace, and Greeley counties in Kansas, as well as, Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties in Colorado. Outdoor burning should be avoided.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed. We would appreciate reports of blowing dust.
