WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Snow showers will develop over the mountains this afternoon, and light snow is likely across the mountains tonight. Accumulations will mostly be under 3 inches, but up to 6 inches around Rabbit Ears Pass. There is a chance of showers over the foothills and in the Denver area in the late afternoon and early evening, mostly snow in the foothills and rain at lower elevations. Any snow accumulation in these areas will be light with no travel impacts expected.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday  Multiple rounds of light mountain snow will bring slick travel conditions along northern mountain passes Friday through Saturday night. Lower elevations will remain dry. The next system arrives Monday which will likely bring widespread cooler temperatures, widespread gusty winds, and mountain snow.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Snowfall reports from spotters will be appreciated.
