WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Light snow showers will become widespread across the mountains and foothills today, then diminish this evening. Snow accumulations in most areas will be between 1-4", but areas just west and southwest of Denver could see up to 8 inches in the late afternoon and evening. At lower elevations, there's a chance of light rain showers in the late afternoon and evening. There may be some snow mixed in but no accumulation is expected.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday  Light mountain snow is expected Thursday night with rain and snow showers possible again for the lower elevations. Roads will become slick in places. Another round of mountain snow is expected late Friday and early Saturday. The weekend looks mostly dry for the mountains, though a few pockets of light snow will be possible over the northern mountains.  A fast moving system will bring windy conditions Monday with mountain snow likely. A cold front will bring a chance for snow for the lower elevations Monday and cooler temperatures for the first half of next week.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
