This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Strong winds up to 75 mph will be possible over portions of the foothills and mountains this afternoon and evening. The highest threat will be along and north of I-70. Gusty winds will also occur over the plains with gusts from 35 to 45 mph this afternoon. Winds near the Wyoming border may gust from 55 to 60 mph at times. Light snow will continue in the northern mountains today but decrease by mid to late afternoon with minor accumulations. The strong winds will produce blowing snow over the higher passes. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday Gusty winds will diminish by Monday. A weak storm system could bring light snow to the mountains Tuesday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed, but high wind reports would be appreciated.
