WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Snow will fall across the higher terrain today with the heaviest intensity of snowfall occurring this evening. The Park Range will see the highest totals with 4-8 inches of snow expected. The I-70 mountain corridor will see the next highest totals with 3-6 inches expected. Some rain and snow showers will fall across the I-25 corridor tonight but little to no snow accumulation is expected. Otherwise, there will be gusty winds especially across the higher terrain today with gusts up to 40 mph.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday  Significant snowfall is expected for the higher elevations Tuesday through Thanksgiving morning. Widespread travel impacts can be expected for all mountain routes. This second system will also bring greater potential for lower elevation snow late Tuesday into Wednesday, with roads likely becoming slippery Wednesday and Wednesday night.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
