This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight A weak system is expected to bring light mountain snow showers to the forecast area today, becoming more widespread tonight. Slick travel conditions may develop in the high country this afternoon and evening, but accumulations are expected to be light, ranging from 1-4" at elevations above 10,000 feet. With gusty winds expected, areas of blowing snow will be possible over the higher passes. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday Light snow showers will continue in the mountains Tuesday with slick travel conditions at times, along with areas of blowing snow over the higher passes. A few snow showers may also spread onto the plains mainly along and south of I-70, but little if any accumulation or impacts are expected. It will become windy in most areas by late morning. Temperatures will be much colder with highs only in the upper 30s and lower 40s on the plains and teens to lower 20s in the mountains. Dry weather will return by Wednesday, with above normal temperatures Thursday through Saturday. Snow may return to the mountains by late Saturday or Sunday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
