YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  Counties along the Colorado border have a chance for accumulating snow starting tonight. The higher chances for snow favor Eastern Colorado where a Winter Storm Warning is in effect from 11 PM MST tonight through 5 PM MST tomorrow evening. Blowing snow may create travel impacts overnight, especially on west to east oriented roads.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...  Snow will continue through the overnight hours on Wednesday. The Winter Storm Warning will remain in effect until 5 PM MST for Yuma, Kit Carson, and Cheyenne counties in Colorado. More light snow accumulations are possible through Thursday evening, though confidence in exact snow amounts is low to moderate at this time.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not required; however, any snow reports are greatly appreciated.
