WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Snow showers will become widespread across the mountains this afternoon. The showers will be most numerous north of Interstate 70, with the higher mountains receiving up to 4 inches of snow. Other mountain and valley areas will have lighter snowfall. Higher passes may be snow covered at times, especially Rabbit Ears and Cameron Passes. Across the urban corridor and plains, precipitation will be a rain snow mix. with showers most numerous south of Interstate 76 and along the northern Colorado border. Most locations will see no snow accumulation, though some places could get a quick inch under a heavier shower.  Tonight will be the coldest night yet this fall, with lows in the mid to upper 20s across most of the plains and teens in most mountain areas.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday  Dry conditions are expected for the forecast area Thursday through Sunday with temperatures will warm back up to seasonal normals for a few days.  The next storm will bring cooler temperatures and snow for the forecast, with snow starting in the mountains Sunday afternoon and a chance of snow out on the plains Sunday night. These snow chances should continue into mid next week.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
