WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Lingering snow showers in the mountains will end this afternoon with much improved travel conditions. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms with small hail on the plains will also shift east through the afternoon and come to an end, with clearing skies thereafter. It will be windy with gusts to 35 mph possible across the plains and 45-55 mph across the high country and foothills. Winds will diminish this evening.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday  Dry weather will prevail this week with above normal temperatures Tuesday through Thursday. It may be breezy to windy on Thursday with elevated fire weather conditions.  A cold front will likely drop temperatures back to more seasonal levels on Friday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight. Any storm total snowfall reports from the mountains will be appreciated.
