Critical fire weather conditions are expected Thursday afternoon in Yuma County, Colorado, and Dundy County, Nebraska, due to the combination of low humidity and gusty southwest winds. Elevated fire weather conditions will occur in the remainder of the area. Areas of blowing dust may develop Thursday afternoon generally along and east of a line from Wray to Cheyenne Wells. Localized visibility reductions are likely. Precipitation chances will begin across the area Friday night and continue through the weekend.
