YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  The first freeze of the season is expected tonight along and east of Highway 25 in northwest Kansas and southwest Nebraska. Lows will be in the upper 20s to lower 30s.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  Windy conditions are expected across the area each day Wednesday through Friday. Southerly winds gusting 40 to 50 mph will be common, with locally higher gusts over 50 mph possible.  Near critical to critical fire weather conditions are expected Wednesday afternoon.  Areas of blowing dust may develop both Thursday and Friday afternoons.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be required.
