WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 ...NEAR RECORD HEAT AND ELEVATED FIRE DANGER TODAY...  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Warmer and very dry air will be over Colorado today. Near record high temperatures will combine with single digit humidities to produce elevated fire danger this afternoon. The winds will be strongest in the northern mountains and northern border areas where wind gusts this afternoon will be between 25 and 35 mph.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday  Above normal temperatures with a dry air mass in place will cause elevated to critical fire weather conditions across the forecast area during the afternoon hours each day through Monday. If wind speeds are strong enough some of those days, Red Flag Warnings will be needed for the appropriate areas.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
