YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  A few thunderstorms capable of dry lightning are forecast to develop this afternoon primarily along and north of Interstate 70. The dry lightning may lead to fire starts.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...  Near critical to briefly critical fire weather conditions are anticipated over much of the area on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The relative worst conditions are expected on Thursday, when south winds may gust up to 50 mph during the afternoon and evening hours.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not anticipated.
