WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Scattered higher based showers along with isolated thunderstorms will occur this afternoon into the early evening hours, especially over the higher terrain. Gusty winds will be common with a few winds gusts up to 50 mph possible. Rainfall is expected to be light.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday  Showers and thunderstorms are likely in the mountains Wednesday, mainly in the afternoon. Scattered afternoon and evening storms are expected on the plains. They will produce gusty outflow winds but mainly light rainfall.  Thursday through Sunday looks like a period of warm and mainly dry weather. Fire danger will increase on Thursday, when wind gusts of 30-40 mph are expected.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
