YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  There is a Marginal Risk of severe thunderstorms generally along and east of a line from McCook to Levant and Tribune from around 2 PM MDT (3 PM CDT) through 7 PM MDT (8 PM CDT). The primary hazards include hail up to an inch in diameter, wind gusts to 60 mph, and locally excessive rainfall that could produce some flash flooding or flooding of poor drainage and low lying areas.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...  Elevated fire weather conditions are possible across western portions of Cheyenne and Kit Carson counties in Colorado each afternoon from Sunday through Tuesday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation may be required.
