WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Another round of scattered late afternoon and evening thunderstorms are expected today and tonight. The stronger storms may produce gusty winds up to 50 mph, brief heavy rain, and frequent lightning. There will be just a limited threat of flash flooding over the burned areas, as storms will be moving about 30 mph to the northeast. Isolated showers and thunderstorms may linger overnight across the forecast area.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday  Shower and storm coverage is expected to decrease Monday, although a stronger storm or two could still produce brief heavy rain, gusty winds, and frequent lightning.  Drier weather is then expected to develop by Tuesday and hold through most of the week ahead. Only isolated and weaker storms will be possible.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
