YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Areas of fog will continue for areas along and east of the Colorado Kansas border through about 9 AM MDT (10 AM CDT). Visibilities as low as one half mile are possible.  There is a low chance for a severe thunderstorm or two this afternoon and evening, favoring counties along the Colorado border. Wind gusts up to 65 mph are possible along with hail up to golf ball in size.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  Thursday and Friday both have low chances for a severe thunderstorm or two. Large hail and damaging wind gusts are the main threats. Thursday favors counties along the Colorado border while Friday favors Southwest Nebraska and parts of Northwest Kansas.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed. We would appreciate reports of severe weather via telephone and social media.
