This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop across the mountains by early to mid afternoon, and then spread northeast across the plains late this afternoon and evening. Coverage will be highest from the mountains of Summit and Park Counties into the Palmer Divide area. Brief heavy rainfall and a few wind gusts to 50 mph are possible in the stronger storms, with a limited threat of burn area flash flooding. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday Warm weather will continue through the week with highs in the low to mid 90s most afternoons. Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected Monday, with some storms possible severe. Heavy rainfall will also be possible with the stronger storms, which could lead to flash flooding, especially in flood prone areas. Drier weather is expected for Tuesday with isolated thunderstorms.
