WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms can be expected this afternoon and tonight. Most storms will only produce light rain, however a few could produce brief heavy rain and wind gusts up to 50 mph. The highest coverage is expected to be over the northern border area and northeast plains tonight.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday  There will be elevated fire weather conditions Friday under dry and hot conditions, though recent rainfall will serve to taper the fire danger. Scattered thunderstorms likely return Sunday through Tuesday, with a limited threat for flash flooding on the burn scars, and a few stronger storms possible in the plains each afternoon.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
