YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Strong to severe storms are possible from 3 PM to 9 PM MDT, mainly for counties along and west of Highway 27. Damaging wind gusts up to 70 mph and up to 2 inch hail are the main threats. There is low confidence a tornado or two may develop during the afternoon hours.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation may be required this afternoon and evening.
