WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  It will be hot once again today with high temperatures near 100 degrees this afternoon. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to form over the higher terrain early this afternoon, spreading into the adjacent plains through the evening hours. Gusty outflow winds to 50 mph will be the main threat from the thunderstorms.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday  Afternoon thunderstorms and showers are possible each afternoon across the high country Monday through Wednesday. Storms could bring gusty winds, lightning, and light rainfall. Recent burn scars may be susceptible to flash flooding.  By Thursday through the end of the week, cooler temperatures are likely. Chances are increasing for additional rainfall for the mountains and plains Thursday into the weekend.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
