WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  It will be hot once again today with high temperatures reaching 97 to 102 degrees. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to form over the higher terrain. Gusty outflow winds to 50 mph will be the main threat from the thunderstorms. Isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected to move onto the nearby plains with gusty winds continuing.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday  Afternoon thunderstorms and showers are possible each afternoon across the high country Monday through Wednesday. Storms could bring gusty winds, lightning, and light rainfall. Recent burn scars may be susceptible to flash flooding.  By Thursday through the end of the week, cooler temperatures are likely. Chances are increasing for additional rainfall for the mountains and plains Thursday and Friday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
