YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  Isolated storms may develop between 2pm through 6pm MT along and north of Highway 36 with large hail and damaging winds the main threats.  Scattered storms then look to develop after 9pm this evening with wind gusts around 60 mph the main threat and a secondary threat of hail around quarter size. These storms may persist through Saturday morning.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...  Temperatures and heat indices in the 100 to 105 degree range are anticipated across portions of the area early next week.   .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation may be needed this afternoon and evening.
