Heavy rainfall will be the main threat, but a brief severe storm with quarter size hail and 60 mph isn't out of the question. Westerly downslope winds across the Front Range will dry the airmass some. However, scattered showers and thunderstorms are still expected. Far northeast Colorado, may the strongest storms where large hail and damaging winds will be possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday Scattered thunderstorms will return Friday afternoon, with potential for a few to become strong to severe, especially from Weld County eastward to the Kansas state line.
