High temperatures approaching or exceeding 100 degrees are expected across much of the Tri-State area on Wednesday. Similar temperatures are expected across portions of the area on Thursday, mainly along and south of Interstate 70. Heat indices will remain at or below the air temperature. Scattered thunderstorms may develop over portions of the area Thursday afternoon.
