This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Scattered thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon to early evening time frame. They will first develop over the higher elevations by early afternoon, then move eastward onto the adjacent plains this afternoon and onto the east plains through the early evening hours. A few strong to severe storms are possible with hail around/just above 1 inch and severe wind gusts. Some storms may be capable of heavy rainfall and if they stay over an area for an extended period, could lead to localized flood impacts for prone areas. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday Isolated afternoon and evening thunderstorms are expected on Tuesday, then it will be hot Wednesday and Thursday with few or no thunderstorms. Increased storms are expected again starting on Friday and there is a chance that some of these storms are strong to severe.
