The primary impact these showers and storms will have is strong wind gusts up to 45 mph. Heavy rain and large hail is not expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible across the high country north of I-70 and over the far eastern plains on Sunday. A storm system is expected to bring cooler and unsettled weather to the region from Monday into Tuesday. Scattered showers and thunderstorms should develop behind a cold front late Monday, with showers and a few storms continuing into Tuesday.
