WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Summerlike warmth can be expected today with temperatures pushing into the mid to upper 80s across the plains. Only isolated high based showers and a rumble or two of thunder can be expected over the mountains. They will produce gusty winds to between 30 and 40 mph, but little rainfall.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday  Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop mainly south of I- 70 late Saturday afternoon. As storms and showers progress into the plains, chances of rain and small hail become more isolated. A short- lived dry period will occur Sunday. The next system arrives Monday which may lead to scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms across the region through late Tuesday. Thunderstorms across the plains may produce small hail and erratic winds. Cooler temperatures are expected Tuesday and Wednesday then warming back up by Thursday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
