WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue today across much of the forecast area. There could be small hail, moderate rainfall and wind gusts up to 35 mph with the showers and thunderstorms. The snow level will be around 8,500 feet, and additional snowfall accumulations up to 4 inches are possible across Park County. Poor travel conditions in Park County along US-285 and US-24 are expected to improve by mid afternoon.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday  A few showers and thunderstorms will be possible on Monday. Precipitation chances increase on Tuesday, with scattered afternoon showers and a few storms. A cold front is expected to bring cooler temperatures and widespread perception to the region Wednesday into early Thursday. A warming and drying pattern is forecast for late week into next weekend.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight. However, any snowfall reports from the high country will be appreciated.
