YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Scattered thunderstorms anticipated to develop in northeast Colorado and far western Kansas between 4 PM and 6 PM MDT this afternoon will increase in coverage and track southeastward across the area this evening, exiting into central and southern Kansas around or shortly after Midnight MDT. Severe thunderstorms are possible, especially in northwest Kansas, where large hail and damaging winds appear to be the primary hazards. Torrential rainfall may lead to flooding of poor drainage and low lying areas, especially for those who received heavy rainfall over the past few days.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...  Critical fire weather conditions are possible during the afternoon hours on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation may be needed this afternoon and evening.
