YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...  Strong to severe thunderstorms may return to the area Thursday. Should severe storms occur the favored time period would be during the afternoon into the evening hours. Storm Prediction Center maintains their 15% probability for locales along and east of Highway 25 but may change in coming days. Continue to stay up to date with the most current forecasts.  Very high grassland fire danger index is forecast Wednesday across eastern Colorado and into adjacent Kansas and Nebraska counties. Very high to locally extreme grassland fire danger continues Thursday across eastern Colorado and along and south of Highway 40 in Kansas. Breezy southerly winds of 20-30 mph sustained both days.    .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not currently anticipated.
