Precipitation amounts will be on the light side. Mainly dry and warmer weather can then be expected Wednesday, continuing into early Thursday. Chance for showers and thunderstorms increase Thursday afternoon and evening as a weather disturbance arrives. A few stronger storms will be possible over the northeast plains. Shower and storm coverage will increase further this weekend, with a potentially stronger spring storm system moving into the area.
