WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Isolated showers/thunderstorms in the afternoon in the mountains. A few may stray onto the plains, but more likely bringing virga and brief gusts up to 30 mph. Elevated fire weather conditions expected this afternoon across portions of the Palmer Divide and Lincoln County.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday  Isolated to scattered showers and storms can be expected Tuesday, with the highest coverage over the mountains. Precipitation amounts will be on the light side. Mainly dry and warmer weather can then be expected Wednesday, continuing into early Thursday.  The chance of showers and thunderstorms is then expected to be on the increase by Thursday afternoon and evening as a weather disturbance arrives. Shower and storm coverage will increase further toward the weekend, with a potentially stronger spring storm system moving into the area. Temperatures will also be turning cold enough to bring the potential for accumulating snow to the mountains.  ...SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
