Breezy north winds and dry conditions will foster a high grassland fire danger potential this afternoon. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY... Critical fire weather conditions are likely in eastern Colorado and adjacent portions of far western Kansas on Friday, where a Fire Weather Watch remains in effect. Strong winds may affect much of the Tri-State area on Saturday. Wind related hazards, including critical fire weather conditions and blowing dust, are also possible. Hazardous travel conditions appear to be the primary impact. A few thunderstorms may develop over portions of northwest Kansas Saturday afternoon. At this time, thunderstorm development, coverage and severe weather potential appear greatest in central and eastern Kansas, mainly along and east of Highway 283. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
