YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  Wintry weather returns to the area Thursday through Friday. Light snow accumulations are forecast for most; although portions of Yuma and Dundy county may see locally higher totals if rain changes to snow quicker. Light ice accumulation is possible along and north of Highway 36 Thursday as well.  Roadways in areas that see precipitation may freeze quickly Thursday evening into Friday morning as temperatures will quickly plummet behind a cold front. Be prepared for slick roadways, especially bridges and overpasses.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight.
